RYAN FERRILL HIRED AS 2010 COACH FOR PHILADELPHIA FLYERS ELITE

Former Flyers Elite Alum, NCAA Division I and ECHL player excited to mentor young players

The Flyers Elite Youth Hockey Club is proud to announce that Ryan Ferrill has been hired to coach the 2010 PeeWee Minor team for the 2021-22 season.  Coach Ryan will work with Coach Slava Kuznetsov to train and develop the club’s 2010 players for the upcoming season.

Ryan most recently played professional hockey with the ECHL’s Maine Mariners.  Prior to embarking on his pro career, Ryan played 138 NCAA DI hockey games for the College of the Holy Cross, while earning AHCA Academic All-American honors three times.  Prior to enrolling at Holy Cross, Ryan finished his junior hockey career with the Philadelphia Flyers Elite and previously played for Team Comcast where his 18U team earned a berth at USA Hockey’s National Championships.

“We are beyond excited to have Ryan join our program,” said Flyers Elite Hockey Director Chad Dlugolecki. “Our goal is to offer the best path for players to develop and pursue their goals in hockey and Ryan is an alum who has traveled that exact path from youth to junior to college to the professional ranks.  His experiences will serve him well as he tutors our young players.”
