Alumni Update: Tyler Boucher Signs Entry Level Contract with the Ottawa Senators

The Ottawa Senators have announced that Flyers Elite alum Tyler Boucher has signed a three year entry level contract, beginning his professional hockey career.

Tyler was in the middle of his first season at Boston University, where he registered 3 points in 17 games. By signing the contract, he ends his collegiate hockey career.

Tyler was drafted 10th overall by the Ottawa Senators.  Tyler is the son of former Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Brian Boucher, and is the highest drafted player in Philadelphia Flyers Elite history.

Tyler played for our organization from Squirt Minor through Bantam Major. Tyler then played at Avon Old Farms Prep School in Connecticut before spending the last two years with the United States National Development Program.

The Philadelphia Flyers Elite has now had 14 players drafted by NHL teams since 2009.

Congrats to Tyler and best of luck for continued success moving forward!
