The Philadelphia Flyers Elite Tier I youth hockey club is delivering the same standard of excellence that our Virtua Hockey and Team Comcast families have known, valued and appreciated for over seventeen years.
Our staff works relentlessly on a daily basis to deliver a youth hockey experience that is representative of our iconic brand. Hockey development is what we do, full time, every day.

We have built a proven model that provides the aspiring player with a development path leading from youth hockey to junior hockey to NCAA and professional hockey. We reinforce the importance of academic achievement throughout this process, along with the importance of strong moral character and good citizenship. And, through this journey, our culture ensures that our players and families learn many valuable life lessons that will carry on and benefit them throughout their entire lifetime.

Hundreds of Alums that have played Junior Hockey in the USHL, NAHL, BCHL & USPHL
With our new ownership by the Black Bear Sports Group, we have direct relationships at all levels of junior hockey with the Youngstown Phantoms (USHL), Maryland Black Bears (NAHL) and Team Maryland (EHL). Our Midget aged players have the opportunity to practice and play with these teams during the course of their season, while also receiving valuable exposure and feedback from the junior coaches.
Our staff also has existing relationships with numerous NCAA coaches throughout North America, as we have helped hundreds of our players find a home at the appropriate “next level” along their development path. Our coaches and staff are experts in their field, as we have years and years of experience advising our families as they navigate this sometimes challenging process, while earning the trust of teams and coaches at every level.
Black Bear Sports Group (BBSG) was founded in 2015 to purchase aging ice rinks and bring much-needed capital to rehabilitate arenas and replace mechanical equipment. As a result, hockey and ice skating thrive in our rinks which are safe and fun environments for the local communities we serve.
