GUY GAUDREAU HIRED AS SKILLS COACH FOR PHILADELPHIA FLYERS ELITE

Highly decorated hockey coach will also oversee 8U development program at Pennsauken

The Flyers Elite Youth Hockey Club is proud to announce that coach Guy Gaudreau will be back with the club for the 2021-22 season and in an expanded role. Guy will work with several teams while focusing on our 2009 through 2012 birth year teams with weekly skills training sessions throughout the season.

Coach Guy will also oversee the 8U Development program at the Pennsauken Skate Zone, as the rink expands its’ offerings and looks forward to delivering exceptional training and development opportunities for the 2013 and 2014 birth year players.

Guy Gaudreau has coached directly over 100 different youth hockey players that have gone on to play either NCAA Division I or professional hockey players. He is the father of NHL All Star Johnny Gaudreau and current professional player Matthew Gaudreau.

“We are beyond excited to have Guy back for another year and in a bigger role,” said Flyers Elite Hockey Director Chad Dlugolecki. “Our goal is to offer the best path for players to develop and pursue their goals in hockey and there is nobody better at developing young hockey talent then Guy Gaudreau.”
