Pennsauken, NJ – The Philadelphia Flyers Elite Tier I “AAA” Youth Hockey Club is proud to announce its new affiliation with Black Bear Sports Group’s array of junior hockey franchises, which will serve to further enhance the development pathway for our players.
Black Bear Sports Group owns the Maryland Black Bears of the NAHL, the Youngstown Phantoms of the USHL and Team Maryland of the EHL. With that, this new affiliation with Black Bear Sports Group will help create a direct pipeline between for our players to not only be scouted and watched closely, but to play in the NAHL, USHL and EHL.
“Our coaching staff has worked hard over the years to help our players develop their hockey and life skills, all in an effort to prepare them as they aspire to play at the next level,” said Pat Ferrill, Philadelphia Flyers Elite President. “We have had much success helping players to achieve their dream to play NCAA hockey, as evidenced by the more than 80 alums that have earned DI commitments. This new affiliation will only help to enhance such opportunities now as our players and coaching staff will have a direct pipeline to the Phantoms (USHL), Black Bears (NAHL) and Team Maryland (EHL).”
Black Bear Sports Group also recently acquired the home arena of Philadelphia Flyers Elite, the Virtua Health Pennsauken Skate Zone, along with the Atlantic City Skate Zone and the Jefferson Health Northeast Philadelphia Skate Zone.
With this affiliation, Flyers Elite adds another huge asset to help facilitate and continue its tradition of excellence developing youth hockey players and providing them a pathway to success.
