CONGRATS to alum Evan Barratt!
The Chicago Blackhawks announced that Evan Barratt has signed a three-year entry level contract, officially starting his professional hockey career.
Evan recently finished his junior season with the Penn State Nittany Lions where he shared the team lead in goals with 12 and had 34 points in 34 games. That followed a stellar sophomore season when he set a school record with 1.34 points per game, earning him First-Team All-Big Ten honors.
Originally from Bristol, PA, Evan spent several seasons playing for Team Comcast, the former name of the recently rebranded Philadelphia Flyers Elite youth hockey club. After his 16U season, Evan played for the United States National Team Development Program, and also participated in the 2016 All-American Prospects Game, which was played at the Wells Fargo Center. Evan was drafted in the 3rd round (90th overall) by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2017 NHL Draft.
Congrats to Evan on starting his professional career and best of luck going forward!
