AAHA Approves Player Agreement Process for 2020-21 Season

We hope that everyone in our community is staying safe and healthy while spending some quality family time during this unprecedented period in our history. Our Skate Zone facilities continue to be closed in the best interests of the health and safety of our families and staff, but we are remaining optimistic that we will collectively overcome this adversity and all be able to return to the rink in the very near future.

At this time, the AAHA is moving forward with permitting Member Clubs to offer Player Agreements without the benefit of a tryout, to allow for planning of the 2020-21 season. With that notification, we are currently accepting registrations online with no payment required. We have received many registrations already, but if you have not already registered we ask that at your earliest convenience please go to the “Tryouts” tab to “Become a member of Philadelphia Flyers Elite” on our website at https://www.flyersskatezone.com/philadelphia-flyers-elite and register online. This registration is for our planning purposes only and to ensure that our coaching staff is aware of your interest in joining the Flyers family.

Our staff are working diligently to build our teams for next season, as we all look forward to representing the Flyers brand and enjoying another successful season on the ice. Until then, we will continue to monitor local, state, federal and CDC developments and will keep everyone informed as things change regarding the status of our facility opening and hockey returning. In the interim, as we all express our appreciation and gratitude for all those workers who remain on the frontlines of essential services during this pandemic, please stay home, stay safe and be well!
